It's great if you like cherry/amaretto flavor. It's not something we would drink every day but we liked it enough to finish it .

I am not a black coffee drinker, so I can't attest to that. But I add a little vanilla or Bailey's Irish creamer and I'm happy. It makes for really good home brewed coffee.
